Chapter 24!
Falling a bit behind schedule, but I finally got Chapter 24 done. Not quite as exciting as previous chapters, I don't think, but a relatively important one all the same. Hopefully fans of Blade will find it somewhat enjoyable on top of the other tidbits of information that have been revealed about him!
The next update will NOT be a Chapter update, but one for Codex (which is still under construction). Basically, if you're interested in the other bits and pieces of the world that my insanity has somehow managed to concoct, then you'll get the chance to check it out some soon!
Okay MAYBE there will also be a Chapter update but this newest one is proving to be the most difficult one I will have to write thus far, far surpassing Chapters 19/20 in terms of delicate foreshadowing. Bear with me.
Chapter 23 and a Map update!
Cruising right along at an easy pace, I've just posted Chapter 23 for general viewing. I do try to proofread this stuff, but there are only so many times my own eyes can look at it before certain things just get glossed over, so if you see anything particularly glaring, let me know!
More exciting for me, though, since I've been slacking on it so hard, I also decided to throw up a new Map. It's still not finished but everything of note up to this point in the story should be marked, at least. Could help, who knows?
See look this time around I'm actually keeping my promises! WOW!
Chapter 22 and a New Glossary!
Yup, Chapter 22 has just been posted. I only proofread it once, so if you catch any glaring errors let me know on the forums in the right discussion thread!
A new version of the Glossary has also been uploaded. Check it out if you're curious!
Finally, new header and new site button. Not very important I know but it's the little things that make happy.
For the record, Chapter 23 has also been completed but is currently being edited for errors and stuff. Expect a big update for the map coming soon!

A year, and then some!
Well folks, I don't even know if any of you guys check this space anymore, but as you can see, some huge changes are currently underway!
First and most importantly, Chapters 18 to 21 have been completed! If the links don't work right now, they will soon, so please be patient!
Secondly, this is no longer a community-driven site. This is strictly a vanity site run by me for me as a giant hunk of over-embellished storage space. I exhibit my writing in all its forms, from creative to journalistic, simply because, well, I CAN.
Watch this space. If I keep to my schedule this time (oh please god let me keep to my schedule this time), the site's overhaul will be complete by mid-May (2008, smartasses).

Chapters 16, 17
Chapters 16 and 17 have now been posted! They've admittedly been available for some time on my forum, but this is intentional; the forums get first look, followed by the main body of the site. Of course, if you check the forums with any form of regularity this wouldn't necessarily concern you. Heehee. Me so sneaky.
I am slightly concerned with the pace of the story; some sections and scenes that are necessary are a bit tedious to get through, and I'm not sure whether or not it's because they just seem boring or if it's because they are difficult to write. In any case, Chapter 18 is underway, though going at a relatively slow pace owing to the fact that I've been fleshing out the appendix in an effort to light a fire up under my ass.
In other news, the site will see something of an overhaul as I step away from the original concept of it being a community writing site. The forums will remain a home base for the few of us that are left while the site itself will be my own personal showcase. I've decided that I will not force a community into existence, but rather nurture what I do have and see where things go from there.
That said, some sections of the site will indeed vanish. I know this might come as something of a disappointment to most of you who still read this, but I simply do not have the time to do the things I need to do to maintain a good website, and I hate not giving something my all.
If you really do need a concrete excuse, I am currently involved in a major non-work project that will take off around June this year, and I want to ensure that I am well-prepared to handle the responsibilities I have undertaken.
